Most of the films shown in Million Dollar Theater are from yesteryear. So if you are into vintage movies, this is the place to go. When we checked, films ranged from the 1930’s to the 1970’s, but I have no doubt they still show silent films too.
The Million Dollar Theater itself goes back a long way, as do the films it shows. The theater opened in 1918, with the debut of the cowboy film ‘The Silent Man’.
This movie theater was one of the first movie palaces built in the United States, and is located near the legendary Bradbury building.
The theater has recently undergone a major remodeling of the building. The theater is now available to host special events, and the upper floors are offices and residences.
