Angelina Jolie isn’t known for being shy. Before Brad Pitt came along, she didn’t have a problem generating headlines on her own. She made the news for a shocking kiss with her brother, had a bisexual relationship with a Calvin Klein model, and wore a vial of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thorton’s blood around her neck.
She achieved wide fame after playing the part of video game heroine Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001, then established herself amongst some of the the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood with the sequel The Cradle of Life in 2003.
More recently, Angelina the wild child, has metamorphosed into a globe-trotting United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) goodwill ambassador.
She is also a mother of six – her three daughters Shiloh and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline conceived with Pitt, and three adopted children: Maddox, Pax and Zahara. Angelina is divorced from actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
