Miranda Lambert may sing falsely about revenge, but it seems to have done the job. She’s released four hit albums so far, while back in 2010, she earned nine CMA Award nominations – the most for any female artist in CMA history.
She turned her third-place finish in the TV singing competition Nashville Star into a full-blown country music career.
“Me and Charlie Talking” was her debut single from her 2005 album Kerosene, that also earned her a Grammy nomination. The Platinum certified album also produced the singles “Bring Me Down”, “Kerosene”, and “New Strings”. All four singles were Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
The album established her as one of Country Music’s leading ladies.
Now with her four No. 1 albums and a Grammy under her belt, Miranda has channeled her inner girly-girl to fellow country star and husband Blake Shelton.
Miranda Leigh Lambert was born on November 10, 1983, in Longview, Texas.
