Auto Club Speedway

Auto Club Speedway logoAuto Club Speedway has hosted NASCAR racing annually since 1997, and also hosted open wheel racing events until 2005.

Their formula cars run on the 13 turn, 1.45 mile interior road course at the Auto Club Speedway. The Speedway is well known for it’s 3KM, low-banked, D-shaped oval speedway.

Auto Club Speedway was completed in 1996, and has a grandstand capacity of 91,200 and 28 skyboxes.

The Speedway is near to Interstate 10 and Interstate 15, and there is a Metrolink station located behind the backstretch.

There is also a racing school running formula cars based here: Allen Berg Racing Schools.
