Subliminal Projects Gallery Los AngelesSubliminal Projects Gallery claims to be a multifunctional gallery space that promotes diverse forms of art, at the same time as providing a forum for contemporary dialogue.

Originally created as an artist collective in 1995, they played a part in introducing skateboarding culture to the art world. They showcased artists such as Phil Frost, Thomas Campbell, Mike Mills, Dave Aaron, and Mark Gonzales.

Later they continued to host exhibitions featuring artists such as Ryan McGinness, HunterGatherer, David Ellis, Doze Green, Aesthetic Apparatus, Space Invader, Jim Houser and Andrew Jeffery Wright.

Now located in the historic Los Angeles neighborhood of Echo Park, they continue to offer a platform for artistic exploration and innovation.

Their annual schedule includes art exhibitions by established and emerging artists. They also hold lecture series, workshops and artist publications.
