Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area is found at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains. It is one of the many hidden jewels of Southern California.
The 836-acre facility has a small 70-acre lake with year-round fishing and non-motorized watercraft usage.
The California DFG stocks rainbow trout from Fall through early Spring and catfish during the Summer months. Also there are largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and carp to be found in here.
There are also numerous picnic tables and bbq’s available for the family.
The entrance fee is currently $10 per vehicle.
Swimming is allowed in designated areas.
